PC Creation
Genarate Characteristic
The first step of creating a Character is to define his characteristic by rolling a 6-sided dice. Here are the characteristic that this game have:
Determine Occupation
After rolling the attributes, it's time for you to choose a occupation.
An occupation shows how an investigator makesa living, be it as a doctor, a student, or lowlife fraudster.
An occupation also reflects a particular investigator's field of expertise, and So dictates which of their
skills should be higher.
The actual occupation of your investigator will have limited effect during the game; it is simply a basis
for your investigator's starting skills and helping to define his or her backstory.
Usually we will choose an occupation based on the rolled attributes of the investigator. For example, if I rolled
a data of
STR:50, CON:65, DEX:75, APP:45 , POW:60 ,
INT:75, SIZ:65, EDU:50.
This attributes are probably discribing a healthy student that good at both study and sports.
Decide Skills and Allocate Skill Points
After you have chosen an occupation, calculate your occupation skill points using the characteristics specified alongside the occupation.
Allocate the resulting total as percentage points among those skills listed for the occupation— your investigator's professional skills.
Points should also be allocated to Credit Rating within the range indicated for the occupation.
Not all the skills need to have points
allotted to them, however points left undistributed are lost. Note that each skill has a number in brackets next to it on the investigator
sheet: this is the base chance of success in that skill, and any points allocated to that skill are added to this base number.
You can find a Spreadsheet to automatically deal with it in Useful Links.
There are various of skills that you can upgrade, like:
- Persuade: to convince the target about a particular idea, concept, or belief through reasoned argument, debate, and discussion.
- Library Use: enables an investigator to find a piece of information, such as a certain book, newspaper, or reference in a library, collection of documents, or database.
- Dodge: allows an investigator to nstinctively evade blowsi, thrown missiles, and so forth.
And much more, you get find the skills table from the offical rules handbook.
Create a Backstory
If you finish all the data stuff, it's time for you to spread your imagenation. Think about the name, the age, all the background details of your investigator and write a short backstory. You should mention all the important moments in his life, his main characteristics and the reason for him to join the investigate.
Equip the Investigator
The last step is to equip your character. Think of something that your investigator will bring outside. It may be a pen, some food or even firearms, who knows.
